Rebel Educator

In this unit, the students will observe their local weather and gain an understanding of their climate. They will learn about the types of severe weather that may occur in their community and how to prepare for it. They will write individual emergency preparedness plans and also create a group product to teach their peers how to prepare for severe weather. This product could be a podcast, news broadcast, stop motion animation, etc.
